OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is the world’s leading independent textile safety label in which all elements of a product – from the fabric to the prints, buttons, zippers, labels and other decorative elements – are tested for harmful chemicals.

OEKO-TEX® MADE in GREEN is a combination of the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate, which confirms the chemical safety of the product, and the OEKO-TEX STeP certificate, which additionally verifies and confirms environmental and social responsibility.

The certificate covers all stages of production of organic textiles. The standard defines restrictions on the origin of yarns and chemicals used in the production process and includes verification of social and environmental standards.

Organic 100 and Organic Blend Content Standard are international standards verifying the organic fibre content of a product. They verify each stage of sourcing and processing of the raw material.

The Organic 100 Claim Standard is awarded to products containing a minimum of 95% organic cotton.

The Organic Blended Claim Standard, on the other hand, can be applied to products containing a minimum of 5% organic cotton.

An international standard that sets requirements for recycled fibres. It ensures control of the entire production chain by minimizing the negative impact on the environment in terms of the chemicals used, respect for human rights in relation to working conditions, and remuneration. Products labelled with this standard must contain a minimum of 50% recycled material.

These standards verify the recycled fibre content of a product. The certificate is awarded by an independent body to manufacturers whose products contain at least 5% recycled fibres in their composition.

Recycled Claim Standard 100 is placed on a product when it contains a minimum of 95% recycled content. In other cases, when the recycled content is less than 95%, the Recycled Claim Standard Blended certification can be given.

These certificates cover food, general merchandise and cosmetic products. They prove that the products offered do not contain ingredients of animal origin.

Vegan – no animal raw materials or any part of them were used at any stage of production. They don’t contain animal products.

Vegetarian – no animal raw materials or any part of them were used at any stage of production. However, they may contain animal products, e.g. silk, honey, milk or egg derivatives (excluding cage eggs).

It is an international quality mark awarded by independent testing laboratories, including Intertek Testing Laboratory. The mark confirms that the product complies with European safety standards as well as quality and performance requirements. Intertek testing laboratories thoroughly verify products for safety, durability, functionality, strength and usability before awarding the quality mark. Verification also includes inspection of products during the manufacturing process.

These are international quality marks awarded by the independent certification body TÜV Rheinland. The quality mark confirms that a given product has undergone the testing and certification process and complies with European safety standards, as well as with the quality and performance requirements of the product. The TUV Rheinland unit, before granting the quality mark, thoroughly verifies the products in terms of safety, durability, functionality and usability. Verification also covers the control of products during the production process.
